Frozen in Time. . .

I met with this bride, Michellee a couple of nights ago to finalize her digital album. I thought I would share a couple of the shots from their wedding. As you can tell, yes I enjoy working with every couple, but these guys were a treat. They are a perfect match. Very much in love and it comes across in their pictures. They had a very modern wedding and are a stylish, beautiful couple. We took most of these shots in the FREEZING cold in Cedar City right before Christmas. We were literally out for about 10 minutes. Thank goodness they were really photogenic! They were the biggest troopers! They were used to the cold, but I've gotten to be a St George baby when it comes to weather. t was fun! Thanks guys!

The Bridge Picture

When anyone comes into my office, they immediatley say "where did you take that picture?" I don't even have to look up anymore to see which one they are talking about. They are asking about the "bridge picture"! I ran across this picture todaywhile cleaning out some folders on my computer. This couple is for sure among my favs of 2006. It is a great story. They are a couple from Ohio that decided to come way out here to Utah to get married in Zions National Park. He had been here before, she hadn't. I had never met them except for a few phone conversations. They were an unbeliveable couple! I dragged my husband, Jason along to assist and we had so much fun getting to know them. What great memories! It was so much fun to document their wedding. Hope you guys are doing well!

Pretty in Blue

I just have a quick post today. It's been crazy long! I am editing one of my favorite brides this year so far. I'll be posting on her wedding coming up soon. Jessica was so fun at her bridals. She has a really sweet mom and we had a great time. I am really getting into the toning of bridals and I thought she looked just gorgeous in this shot!

Career Day

I had to share this because I think it's just about the most adorable thing I've ever seen! I have this friend Kodi. . . we'll call her my best friend (inside joke) and she has 3 really beautiful daughters. The oldest is Kamrie, then Bailey, then Remlee. Remlee is most known as Remlee Kate because she's in that naughty toddler age and her mom always calls her by her full name. Anywho. . . I did their aunt's wedding earlier in 2006 and the girls saw me shooting all day. That same weekend, Kodi sent me the following pictures. I must admit that it welled up in my heart a bit. What? Someone whats to be JUST LIKE ME when they grow up? Aww Shucks. I can't find the other shot. It was from their bedroom door and it read. . . Photography by Kamrie. Enjoy!

Crazy like a FOX!

I am just getting ready for one of my 2006 brides to come over and do a final edit on her storybook album. I'm so excited to see her again! Christa and Ed Fox were one of my favorite weddings this year for sure. We had a great time at their engagments. I ended up throwing them in the back of my car and going all over the place! You have to understand that I am NOT a good driver. Let's just say that I made Christa sick in the end! Anyway, they were fun till the end and I was honestly a little sad on my way home from their reception. I get very attached to people! Anyway, I thought I would blog about them today because it's one of our last appointments together tonight! Come see me when you have your first baby guys!

New Beginnings!

Hello and welcome to the debut of my new blog! I'm really excited to finally have my blog up and running. My poor husband has been spending a LOT of time helping me to revamp my website for 2007, and this part is finally coming together! I have a great year planned and I hope you'll enjoy being part of it!

It's already the 4th of February (happy birthday Kodi!) I cannot believe that January is already behind us! Looking back, it's easy for me to see why I've been so crazy! I'll be sharing it all in the upcoming months, but for now, I'm including a picture of my booth at the recent Ultimate Wedding Showcase at the Dixie Center. I had a really good time getting my booth ready, and it has already proved to be a great success! Here's to new beginnings!
